Some people are still surprised at the actual and projected changes that are
taking place on the planet.
If we stop and tune in we will realise that it is inevitable.

We are now close to seven billion people - and rising rapidly.
We are increasingly and rapidly stripping the planet of her resources.
We are pumping and digging out the very ground we are standing on.
We are cutting down her outcrop.
We are pulling out vast quantities of 'eatable' little people from the
oceans, and killing many more in the process.
In order to keep up with the demand we are pumping products onto and into
the soil (and the animals we eat) that eventually depletes it to such an
extent that it becomes infertile.
We are manufacturing vast amounts of poisonous products that eventually go
into the ground, oceans, and into the air.

I feel sure that if we were in harmony with each other we could stay in
balance, but not being together, and all - countries, political parties,
races, religions, corporations - all operating just for themselves, it is
pretty obvious that major changes are going to take place on the planet.
Major. The way we are going our present way of living is going to become a
distant legend.

And we are still building nuclear reactors, and houses on seismic faults.
And building close the the edge of the rising ocean.
And living as though this state of the planet can sustain our present
indulgent way of living for ever.

I am not saying we cannot live in absolute abundance on this planet - we
just have to manage it in a very different way. Very different.
We need to come together.

Are you together? In yourself, and those to whom you come in contact?
If not, how can we expect the peoples of the planet to drop into harmony?

As they say in Australia: "No worries mate - she'll be right."
