A reader kindly sent an appreciation for the articles I have been sending out about the present banking scandal.
Thank you. In the email he calls the culprits "F***ing criminals.”
Suggestion:
Please consider the possibility - we are all f***ing criminals -
all of us - just a matter of degree.
“… first remove the mote from thin own eye”
"If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone …”
"Judge ye not lest ye be judged.”
As I keep saying, easy to talk about others and their more obvious
actions, yet if we take an honest look at our own lives we may see
that the same is happening with us - just in a lesser way.
Sometime, when you see a convicted felon, tune in to them.
You maybe surprised to find - there is a bit of you in there as well.
So check it out?
Are you absolutely and utterly honest - in every possible way?
Never cheated - in the slightest?
Is your thought for the other always over and above your own?
No judgements?
A much bigger perspective: we don't know nuffin about anyfin.
Trouble is, we think we know almost everything about almost everything.
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”
Possibly, much, much, much, much more.
In fact, what we call reality may, as has been hinted,
nothing more than an illusion.
Stand back a bit, and check it out -
is there more to the situation than you are first seeing?
Any situation.
“The Hidden Harmony”
Until you have done the very basics
of disconnecting from the so-called ‘facts' your brain
has been programmed with, we cannot do more than hint
at other possibilities. The other possibilities are so vast,
that if you let it in without first disconnecting from the nonsense
with which your brain has been programmed, it would explode.
Yet another reason - for not taking anything seriously?
If we support criminals - are we criminals too?
So easy to take the easy way isn’t it - not reading the small print.
Putting our money in, or borrowing from dishonest banks?
Buy products from companies who actively promote unhealthy food -
especially to children.
Use products from companies who sell items to undeveloped countries
that are banned here?
Be part of a religion that is not responsible about population?
Be unconscious about the things we buy - and the way we dispose of them?
Eat food products that are produced in a cruel way?
And so on, and on, and on.
Good job we are not taking things seriously eh.
Are you a criminal?...
