Answer to Majid from Paul:
Yesterday I answered this type of question in an audio recording.
Coming in a day or so.
It is the type of question that I am not really into answering now.
In effect: “How do I stop hitting myself on the head.”
I hope I have made it even more clear in the recording.
Sending love -

Dear Paul,
I seem to get what you say about the washing machine and can sense that, on one level, I am already awake. Somehow though, the washing machine seems highly addictive. It is the level of consciousness I am used to. I do have a choice and I keep choosing the washing machine instead of the watcher. It seems to be an ingrained habit. Perhaps I don't want to wake up.
Is choosing the washing machine part of some self-destructive behaviour? It does seem utterly stupid and yet in some way compelling. It is like eating too much or getting drunk. I know it will feel terrible but still I see myself climbing back into the washine machine again and again. Is this because of great fear in me about being lost into the vastness, the emptiness the neutrality of the watcher or do I just want to punish myself, give myself a hard time? -

YES! If we are always experiencing our thoughts as our reality, Gandhi was right on when he said “You must be the change you would wish to see in the world.”
For those who wish to see another view of the same truth you might enjoy Prophet or Madman. www.prophetormadman.com
