"My bed of Nails" - Sweden, December 2008

"It is fantastic!" "You won't believe how well it works!" "Nothing has helped my back and the sciatica as much as the Shakti Mat has! " "I sleep on it every night! " "You have to get one!"

Our friends couldn't stop talking about the "bed of nails" that they had purchased three months ago. My parents and I listened to these comments as we were looking at this kind of strange thing in front of us.

"You can use it on your back, shoulders, neck, hands, feet and face and it is great for TMJ!" I am a LMT and had extensive dental work done in November and my jaw was clicking. I immediately said "I want to try it on my face." So we put the mat down on the kitchen table and put a tissue down to protect my skin and I put my face on it for four minutes on the right side and my jaw muscles relaxed and the clicking was gone. I did the other side of my face and the clicking and tension disappeared! With these quick results I knew I had to have one!

From that point forward I have used the mat for back tension and pain, especially during my period, which the mat has helped, and I have not needed adjustments or massages like I previously did since I started sleeping on the "Shakti" Mat. I usually just put it in my bed and sleep on it! I don't need as many hours of sleep since I sleep deeper and I feel more rested. Also I discovered that the discomfort / slight pain will go away after the blood starts to circulate through my body and I experience natural warmth. I have discovered that if it is too uncomfortable to lay on with my bare skin, I use a light weight t-shirt until I am ready to lay on it directly. When it hurts so bad it is because your muscles are so tight they need more time to relax.

I use the Shakti Mat in my car when I drive long distances and it is FANTASTIC! After driving for 6 hours I had no back pain and did not get tired while driving and upon arriving at my destination I was energized and awake. I LOVE MY MAT!

After returning to South Carolina where I currently live, I decided to start importing the mats with my friend Jane. We are two energized women, goddesses, who want to share the Shakti Mat with you. It is our prayer that this kind of strange, weird, hurt to touch; amazing creation will help you as much as it has helped people in Sweden. It is the latest and oldest self healing tool within the alternative health field.
