Paul Lowe:
As an addition to the TED link and the forwarded email just sent
(a religious social welfare institution being toxic to work for!)...
We need to keep remembering that,
institutions are not focussed on our wellbeing,
they are only interested in themselves.
(Like most of us most of the time?)
Owners, directors, managers, workers, sellers - are not interested in us,
they are only interested in how much they can sell to us - so that they make
more profit; please the shareholders; get promotion; keep their job.
(It is said that pharmaceutical companies are not so much interested in
drugs that cure, but drugs that keep us just alive enough to keep buying the
drugs.)
If you don't think this is so - check it out.
Watch and listen to the company heads/politicians/religious leaders.
Don't listen to their words, check out the body posture, facial expressions,
and tone of voice.
And there is no excuse - we need to be responsible for ourselves -
in every way.
Happy responsibilitying...
