You are an internationally recognized doctor and healer and appeared on countless television programs in the US and around the world. As a doctor you ran a highly successful chiropractic practice for 12 years until one day your patients began reporting that they felt your hands on them – even though you hadn’t physically touched them. Can you tell us more about this?

I can tell you as much about it as I understand myself… which is, I became a doctor. I decided that this was the work that I wanted to do and was going to do.

STUDENT: I believe in the idea of something being spiritual or divinely inspired, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin in
talking about it.
LEWIS: As we integrate our vision for our life with our daily actions and our wants with our essential needs there is a realization that takes place. I call this a spiritual realization.

Gil Dekel: You are writing about the artists and new realities. Do you think there is a unique or specific way that artists see or experience reality?

Alan Steinfeld: The artist feels something on a subtle level and is driven to express that, not from a conscious mind but from a subconscious mind. Artists create new forms, for example, the Expressionists who added colour that didn't make sense to the literal world. These artists painted a person's face blue or red. Everyone said, 'What's that about?' and the artist replied, 'This is this feeling of what I am trying to say.' It's not the actuality; it is the feeling behind it.

Hi. Welcome. This is a talk on what I have been researching over the last couple of years, which is on how we understand the world; how we
understand the nature of reality and what that means. What I formulated is that we perceive reality through two different sets of awarenesses;
through the left brain and the right brain. So we're always seeing the world in two different ways -simultaneously. But it's usually our ego
left brain that is seemingly more powerful that it overrides the ability to see the symbolic, feeling level in the things. We just basically just see
the one dimensional level of reality which is the surface level.

The concept of channelling has now filtered down from metaphysical circles into the mainstream media, as an accepted idea. For instance when an African student asked Hillary Clinton what her husband, the former US president Bill Clinton thought about a certain economic problem her response was: “I am not going to be channelling my husband.”

Just recently one of the top intellectuals, William Safire, a leading authority on the use of language had a whole column devoted to the word itself in the New York Times.
