Holding Back...& a Few Things for the Weekend |
|
"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." --- Jesus
"Let it out - or you will scream and shout." or... "The more you deny, the more you will cry." or... "The more you deny, the sooner you die." --- Paul Lowe
That sort of thing...
A Few Things for the Weekend:
You say: >Why am I afraid to face my fears?
Because you are lazy/a coward?
>I'm not afraid of death -- that seems the easy part!
Suggestion: Look deeper. It may well be that all fear is the fear of a death - of something.
>Why doing all the effort if we are going to die soon anyway?
True - we are all going to die anyway. Just a matter of where, how and when. In the meantime, can you really look into the eyes of someone suffering and not care? Even though the mind says that is what they need, and anyway it is hopeless, does not the heart feel to be available - for something more than football, fashion, the self?
>the dying fishes and birds
Right. But the 'poor' fishermen are going to kill as many as they can anyway! Any major difference between the cow/sheep/fowl and your cat/dog? Yum. Strange? - how some people complain when attacked by a shark - while spear fishing? Are we really that special? Not to the shark anyway.
Good job nothing matters eh...
