In the REPOSITIONING THE UTERUS CLASS, participants will learn to assess the anatomical position of the uterus, and when restricted in its alignment, gentle techniques that allow the uterus to regain its natural position and freedom of movement.

The Open Music Ensemble, a cooperative of improvising acoustic musicians, will present the fourth and final presentation in the popular series "Musical Meditations" from 7-9 PM on May 8 at Tibet House, 22 West 15th St., in Manhattan.
The Tibet House was founded at the request of the Dalai Lama to help preserve Tibetan culture and contains a small museum, library and art gallery. The evening program will begin in silence. After a brief introduction to meditation, members of the audience will be invited to place their attention on the sounds and silences created for the group by the Ensemble, or to engage in any other quiet practice they might prefer, such as yoga or movement, while the musicians perform. After the musicians have finished playing there will be a short period of silence after which the participants will be invited to share their experiences with others present.

Explore and learn to identify the wild medicine and food plants that are available “for the pickin’ and growin’” in New York City on a walk in an East Village community garden. Seeing, touching, smelling and tasting plants firsthand is the time-honored way to begin to know and use them. Emphasis will be on spring plants, but we will discuss and identify plants that can be harvested in summer and fall as well. Claudia will build on the ‘Wild Cuisine’ workshop and discuss further ways of connecting with the plants around us for health and vitality.
Claudia Keel is a traditional herbalist, and flower essence therapist practicing in New York City. She is also the Weston Price Foundation NYC leader and the founder/president of the Traditional Nutrition Guild, a non-profit buying club connecting metro NY members with local, organic farmers producing delicious, nutrient-dense foods.
